IT onboard - Incorporation program to the computer community: professional orientation for young people
IT onboard introduces young people to IT professions, focusing on open source software communities through career guidance measures.
The onboarding program takes you from initial career exploration activities through games to in-depth e-learning and company activation and mediation for hands-on experience.
The students of the general education centers receive the first basic information about the computer professions in a playful way. Teachers are trained to carry out career guidance measures in the field of information technology autonomously using innovative and motivating methods. Young people can use e-learning to learn autonomously about professions related to information technologies.

The project consortium is made up of partners from Germany, Italy, Austria and Spain, has a duration of 24 months and started on March 1, 2021.
